Mr Huckerby first worked in Derby in 1977, spending 10 years at the City Council and rising to the position of assistant city estates and valuation officer. He then moved to Hallam Brackett in Derby which would later become the Connell Wilson Group. In 1995, Connell Wilson became Lambert Smith Hampton, the Derby office was closed and Mr Huckerby moved to the Nottingham Branch.
